Emmy Awards 2024, Disney ‘pigliatutto’: ‘Shogun’, ‘The Bear’ e ‘Only Murders in the Building’ guidano le nomination

ROMA – Gli Emmy Award hanno svelato le nomination dell’edizione 2024. In testa con 25 nomination c’è la prima stagione di ‘Shōgun’ (disponibile su Disney+).  La serie evento di FX composta da 10 episodi – un’epica saga di guerra, passione e potere ambientata nel Giappone feudale e basata sul romanzo bestseller di James Clavell. A seguire con 23 c’è la seconda stagione di ‘The Bear’ (disponibile su Disney+). La serie segue Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) che riceve in eredità il ristorante di famiglia, in seguito al suicidio del fratello. Il suo reinserimento in un ambiente popolare, dopo essersi formato in cucine di alto livello mondiale, è ritmo, sudore, passione, fatica, amore, urla, poesia, disciplina e una serie di infiniti “Sì, chef!”.

Infine, con 21 nomination c’è la terza stagione di ‘Only Murders in the Building’ (disponibile su Disney+). La sitcom vede Charles, Oliver e Mabel (interpretati da Steve Martin, Martin Short e Selena Gomez) indagare su un omicidio dietro le quinte di uno spettacolo di Broadway. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) è una star di film d’azione di Hollywood il cui debutto a Broadway viene interrotto da una morte prematura. Aiutato dalla co-protagonista Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), il trio si imbarca nel caso più difficile che abbia mai affrontato, mentre il regista Oliver tenta disperatamente di rimettere insieme il suo spettacolo.
